Aloof, Provocative, effortless
We're obsessed with this new luxe label from Down Under. Step out and dress up with this group of rebels.
Take a look at their first collection and you're instantly hit by a wall of… sexy.
The brand is called PFEIFFER. Born in the oceanside suburb of Bondi Beach, Australia, the three part collective is made up of Virginie Pepin, Monique Luchterhand and Angela Bizoglou. The first collection called ‘Stay a while’ is a celebration of the 70s and 80s featuring designs with a love of vintage detailing, heirlooms and memories passed down from each of their disco dancing mothers. A curated capsule of limited edition pieces for strong sexy women. The namesake derives from an ever present fixation with Michelle Pfeiffer’s character ‘Elvira’ in Scarface.
But not only are they ‘stepping out and dressing up - just like our mamas taught us,” says Virginie Pepin, co-creator of Pfeiffer the label, but working with local Australian craftsmen is paramount.
And if there is one thing we love even more than statement dresses, it’s a label showing the time, dedication and genuine passion that are needed to create artistic pieces whilst supporting their local community of artisans.
With their special characteristics and alternative bottoms or tops that can be worn any which way you like, the swimwear collection caters for women with smaller busts and is “proportionate and flattering for those on the itty bitty committee,” comments Angela Bizoglou.
