About this event
A psychological thriller directed by Alfred Hitchcock that follows two young men who commit a murder and then host a dinner party with the victim's body hidden in plain sight. The film is particularly valuable for students in film studies, communication, psychology, philosophy, criminal justice, and theater because of its innovative long-take cinematography, exploration of morality and intellectual arrogance, and its adaptation of a stage play to the screen. All film screenings are free in E109. The 3:00 PM screening is sensory-friendly, with dim (not dark) lighting, reduced volume, and open captions. The 6:00 PM screening offers a full cinema experience, including free popcorn.
